It’s nice to meet you! I’m Allie, a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist. It means a lot that you are here exploring this process!
I know reaching out for psychological services, especially when it comes to an evaluation, can feel overwhelming. I hope to make the process feel approachable, collaborative, and tailored to your specific needs.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University and my undergraduate degree in Psychology (with a minor in Biology) from Southwestern College. After completing my master’s, I went on to complete advanced training in research and clinical psychology applications, which deepened my understanding of assessment and strengthened how I work with individuals and families every day. I have had training experiences at Larned State Hospital, Washburn Psychological Services Clinic, and Responsive Centers for Psychology and Learning. My clinical background includes providing both assessment and individual therapy to children and young adults from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, given my research and clinical interests in health psychology, I have also worked in medical settings, which has furthered my ability to approach patient care holistically.
As such, I work to consider the whole person, not just the symptoms, and prioritize understanding cultural identity and experience in every assessment.
These days, my work is focused primarily on evaluations for kids, teens, and adults. I am supervised by Dr. Prittie and work closely with her in a team-based approach to provide comprehensive, coordinated care. We specialize in assessing ADHD, autism, learning differences, cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and mood or behavioral concerns. I feel truly honored to do this work and to be trusted with people’s stories.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family. I am a proud mom to a sweet and active little boy, and he always keeps us on our toes! We are always on the go, and we love to spend our time traveling (we love the beach!), trying new foods/restaurants, or cheering on local sports teams. I am also always happy to talk superheroes (The Avengers are a favorite in our household) or dive into a good Pokémon conversation.
