Hi! My name is Brogan! I am a Licensed School Psychologist and a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist. Prior to joining the clinical setting, I served as a school psychologist in Blue Valley Schools where I supported students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Now in the clinical setting, I use this experience to continue supporting students and their families. I specialize in the assessment and diagnosis of learning disabilities (including dyslexia and dysgraphia), giftedness, ADHD, mood/anxiety disorders, and other concerns related to learning. I have extensive experience in the assessment of dyslexia and have attended and presented at the International Dyslexia Association Conferences. Additionally, because I have seen firsthand how factors such as attention, anxiety, mood, and behavior can impact one’s learning, I provide comprehensive evaluations to assess for these challenges. My evaluations are tailored to help you better understand your child and provide meaningful recommendations to support your child at home and at school.
In addition to assessment, I also provide therapy and skill coaching to children, adolescents, and young adults. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy techniques to teach social, executive functioning, and coping skills to help individuals better manage their emotions and environment. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and make sessions engaging by bringing a balance of humor, creativity, and hands-on effective treatment modalities.
To my core, I love working with children and adolescents. I am passionate about partnering with families and collaborating with school teams to help children and teens reach their full potential and feel successful in all areas of life. I am excited to potentially partner with you!
I attended Pittsburg State University (Go-Rillas!) for my undergraduate degree, and both of my graduate degrees. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology, and my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology.
In my free time, you can find me cuddled up with my cat and dogs, reading a good book. I love golf and cheering on Kansas City sports teams. I am also a big “foodie” and enjoy trying out local restaurants with friends and family.
