I am so happy you are here! My name is Taylor and I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist in the state of Kansas. I am a proud Jayhawk and Ichabod! I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas, and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University. My most enriching training experiences include working with children at the Edna A. Hill Child Development Center in Lawrence, Kansas, serving the community and students at the Washburn Psychological Services Clinic, providing inpatient care at KVC Prairie Ridge Psychiatric Hospital (now known as Camber) and completing psychological evaluations and providing therapy at Responsive Centers for Psychology and Learning.
I have always described myself as a “kid person.” I believe investing in our youth is essential for creating a healthy and happy society. Since the inception of the Meadowlark Psychology and Development Center, I have focused my clinical work on providing comprehensive neurodevelopmental and psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. I also enjoy providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focused on the treatment of anxiety disorders.
I take great pride in my working relationships with each family and individual I meet. My primary goal is to ensure each family feels heard, develops understanding, and gains a clear plan for how to move forward effectively.
Outside of the Meadowlark Center, I enjoy attending concerts and shows, exercising, rooting for all of the Kansas City sports teams, and spending time outdoors.
